The Regional Electricity Regulators Association (RERA) of Southern Africa will hold its 5th Annual Conference and General Meeting in Arusha, Tanzania. The guest of honor will be His Excellence Hon. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the President of United Republic of Tanzania and the chairperson of African Union.

The conference will seek to provide a forum for regulators, development partners, policy makers, power utilities, investors, financiers and other stakeholders in the SADC region and other parts of the world to network and exchange information on pertinent electricity regulatory issues. It will also discuss regional issues such as power supply potential and constraints, security of supply, available investment opportunities and financial resources.
